Upon completing this course you will be able to:  see writing as a means of discovering, ordering, understanding, and sharing human experience; 2) plan; write; revise; and edit stories, poems, personal and persuasive essays.  3) Recognize effective techniques in the writing of others and incorporate it in their own writing; 4) use effective organizational patterns and rhetorical strategies in their writing; critically evaluate prose.
